I have been reading, researching, and thoroughly enjoying several blogs for a while now. It's funny, as I read and become inspired by others' wit and wisdom, it had not occurred to me sooner to become a blogger - what a great outlet for creativity. I love to write, I love photography, and I love to have deep (sometimes too deep for those who know me), meaningful conversations about my work and the important issues in life, or at least what I believe to be important. I am frequently inspired by moments in my work and in my life and am committed to doing a better job of noticing those moments and will plan to document some of them here. And so I've decided the time is now, the moment is here, I'm officially taking the leap and am the proud administrator of my very own blog, "bleeding heart." The name fits me perfectly and I can't think of a more beautiful and fitting symbol for what I hope to learn and share from this experience. And so I'm going to enjoy the ride, wherever this blogging journey takes me...
